Pick Your Poison

Everybody has had a temptation to do what flesh desired at some point in their life.  This is not a good thing, it just is a thing.  I would venture to say that some do this more than others.  The problem with it is that you have all of the aftermath to contend with.  This is not a good way to go when you are moving toward a vision.  Some people get impatient with God and his timing, but the truth is that He has our best interest at heart.  Patience is a must.  Yes, there are some things that you will endure when doing what God desires but it, in the scheme of things, it works out to be the better choice in the long run.  I mean think about it, how many things are you paying for now that if you had only waited and not given in to flesh, would have turned out a lot differently?  How much regret have you experienced, merely by choosing the wrong things.  Patience is not only a virtue, it is necessary.  If you are going to go through some things anyway, it might as well be for the right choices and not drawn out with much unnecessary sorrow attached.  Pick your poison...
