Position Yourself For What's Coming

Position yourself for what is on the way.  You have to always attach yourself to a train that is moving.  Often times we connect to things that are really not moving and it stagnates our growth.  When you have a dream and you hang with those who are constantly speaking the negative over your dream, then be prepared to stay where you are.  You have to move away from them.  No matter who it is.  Now moving away can mean several things.  If it is family, then you can simply just stop talking about what you are going to do and do it.  What shuts down a nay-sayer is the action of one who believes.  You see, if you believe, then your actions will show just that.  You will not wait for the way to be totally made before you move.  An example of this is when I wen to move into my first home.  I specifically started looking for the house and packing as if I would be moving in the nearest future.  There were 3 contracts ahead of mine that was put in on this house.  The agent told me that the odds were stacked against me and she just did not see the way possible for this particular house to be purchased by me.  I told here to put my contract in and I will see her at closing.  In three days from my leaving her office, all three of the contracts had fallen through and I had been accepted.  My apartment was already packed and I had already contacted the moving company before she called me back.  My purpose was to be in the ready position.  I literally moved in before the closing because of the builder and his decision to move forward and close immediately.  Now others who knew what I had done, told me ahead of time the same thing that the agent had told me.  They said that I would never get the house.  I just stopped talking.  I went on to believe within myself and kept it moving.  All my life I have had to believe in spite of.  I have had to move against the grain and believe what God says to me.  It has never been simple for me to just get things.  Favor follows and leads me but if I am never in position where favor has to prevail, then how would I know how to believe in the impossible.  You must get behind those who have been through the fire and can testify to how the system works.  Align yourself with those who can speak because they know first hand what is really is required to get what you want and are believing for.  Effective mentors have a track record preceding their successes.  They know because they have been where you are trying to go.  They are willing to mentor because the blessing is in the testimony.  You are not blessed for you, it is always for someone else.
