Parenting

Parenting is not an easy feat.  When you have children, it should be a priority to get to know them in all of their phases.  The trend changes every 6 months to a year it seems.  There should never be anything that is more important than spending time exploring their interests in and what they care about.    You see, right under you nose things could be happening that you were not ready for.  When we are too busy working and doing other things that occupy our time, we allow the enemy to speak to our kids and impart his beliefs into their minds.  They are impressionable and vulnerable. We need to keep them close.  Our job is to provide for them and to protect them.  We have to make it OUR BUSINESS tTO BE IN THEIR BUSINESS.  This new generation is so lost because we are so busy.  We must take a stand against this warfare on our children.  No more turning our heads and telling them to find busy work when we need to give them conversation.  No more sending them to grandmothers house to get breaks for ourselves.  We have to wake up and parent.  Cut back the things that are wearing us out and making us less effective in your own home.  We must shift our schedule to add time for the things that they want and need from us.  It is time to take back our children and give them the leg up on the enemies plan for their lives.  It's not so much that THEY NEED US as it is, WE NEED THEM!  Just something to think about.
