Healing Costs

May 14, 2013

Pain does not discriminate.  When you fall you get a bruise, when you are not paying attention closely to the fire, you get burned.  There is a consequence to every action.  So then you must expect that the healing of a situation will cost.  Pain will be involved somewhere.  That situation you are going through or even the mistakes that you keep making, will eventually heal.  The pain that you are experiencing is just temporary. You see, the learning curve is the healing process.  That does not free you from feeling pain in the process, it just lets you know that there is an end to the process.    A very good example of this is when a child gets a cut and you pour alcohol on it to get the infection out.  Of course, we know that the sting is going to hurt but for only a moment.  If you do not go ahead and attack it head on though, it could get infected and cause some other problems that could have been avoided.  This pain could linger for a long time, unnecessarily.  It is the same with life.  Our situations that have to come to an end will hurt temporarily.  Just go ahead and move through it and get the minimal pain over with.  While you are stinging, you become strong.  When you focus on where you are going, the discomfort is not so bad.  Work on you in the meantime and what lessons that you have learned through this process.  After all is said and done and when the sting is out, be confident to know that you will be completely healed.
