See What They Say

Be careful to watch what people are saying to you.  If it is the way that it really is, you will see it.  You cannot rest in words because they are only worth the paper they are written on.  A person's actions are what really matters.  For instance, if you love someone, let it show in the way that you treat them.  On the reverse to that, don't stay there if you do not see the love.  Often times people stay in relationships thinking that they will change the person and get them to love them the way that they want to be loved.  It does not work like that.  Love makes a person want to do for the other.  It is not a forced effort.  It is not something that you have to show a person how to do.  Love just is.  It is kind, patient, long suffering, not easily provoked.  It is exactly what God intended it to be.  That doesn't mean that it doesn't get off track sometimes when life issues hit, but for the most part it always finds a way to show itself.   Love is a feeling that you want to express when you care for someone.  Don't be the fool waiting for someone to learn how to show you and miss the better part of you life while doing so.  After all, love is an action not just a word.
